Ecumenical Hospital Chapel

Local church leaders took part in a special service to dedicate the hospital chapel at the recently opened St George's Park in Morpeth.

They also met members of the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Trust chaplaincy team and staff, volunteers and service users from across the Trust.

St George's Park Hospital provides mental health services for adults. The £28 million building was opened two years ago to replace former St George's Hospital.

The Trust provides mental health, learning disability, neuro-rehabilitation and other specialist services across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear.
