The Flame Train 2012

Flame Congress 2012

Flame Congress will be a national event to inspire young people at Wembley Arena on 24th March 2012. Thousands of young Catholics will gather to reflect, celebrate and pray, as some of the best speakers in Britain share insights about faith and sport, including witness from Catholic Olympians and Paralympians.

Flame Congress is the first event of its kind in England & Wales, and will link Olympic values and faith experience in dynamic and powerful ways.

The Flame Train Update

The journey to Wembley Arena next March for the Flame Congress has captured the imagination of young people across our diocese.

The 200 seats initially booked by YMT have all been taken by both school and parish groups, 50 more were quickly snapped up and YMT have now managed to book the full train of 360 seats and are negotiating the possibility of a second train!

All those who wish to participate are asked to book onto the waiting list as quickly as possible. All young people need an adult leader – suggested ratio is 6-7 young people per adult.

The total cost per person is £59 which includes return train travel, event ticket and tube ticket.
