News:

National Youth Sunday:

YMT along with other national youth ministry groups have been planning and developing a new National Youth Sunday website, so that everyone can gain access to Youth Sunday resources. You will find helpful prayers, reflections, inspirational videos and other resources set out in four categories; FOR YOU, FOR YOUR FAMILY, FOR YOUR PARISH and FOR YOUR SCHOOL. There is a new Instagram account (@nationalyouthsunday) and YMT will be taking over the existing Facebook page. National Youth Sunday is about celebrating young people; however, we would like to encourage this all the time and not just on the Sunday 24 November. A huge thank you to you all for your work in encouraging young people into a personal relationship with Jesus and into the life of the Church.

The EVENT

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, no EVENTs have been held in the school year 2020/21. Details of future EVENTs will be posted here as they become available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The EVENT is a monthly event held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy, Hebburn between 6.00pm - 7.30pm for all young people in the Diocese from Years 5, 6, 7 and 8. The EVENT is completely free of charge and complimentary food and refreshments are provided afterwards so the young people can get to know others from different schools across the Diocese.

All school groups, parish groups, parents, parishioners, staff and clergy are welcome to join us for the EVENT. For further details or to reserve your place (numbers are needed for catering purposes), contact Andrew Young, tel: 0191 428 2700 or email: younga@stjosephs.uk.net.

The Source is usually a very inspirational and uplifting event! Hope to see you all there!
