Mass to Celebrate Marriage
Tom and Maureen Hoban (Teams of Our Lady) write about the recent mass in the diocese marking Marriage Week:
"The Mass marking Marriage Week was celebrated by Father Mark Millward assisted by Deacon Frank O’Neill at Our Blessed Lady Immaculate Washington.
" During the Mass there was an opportunity for couples to renew their marriage vows, led by a number of parishioners who were celebrating a special wedding anniversary this year. Four girls from St Robert’s Comprehensive school performed a liturgical dance to the song ‘Testify to Love’
"If the success of these events is measured in numbers it was a great success. There were at least 200 people present and everyone was invited to share refreshments in the parish centre afterwards. "
